Norma Jean vs Marilyn Munroe
Norma Jean Vs Marilyn Munroe - You decide. Personally we think it's a no brainer. Marilyn was a fantasy, magnificently played by Norma Jean Baker. Above are images of the young Norma Jean and below of Marilyn Munroe. Finishing off with some images taken near the end of her short life, which show a more worldly wise person, perhaps the real Norma Jean again. A beautiful woman nonetheless who will forever be the Queen of Glamour.
Picked up a book recently am adding it to my post today,Has pics of MM as a baby and little girl.Have you seen one of my old posts of a MM picture I picked up at an opshop?
Defintately Norma Jean, especially the second photo...while Marilyn is beautiful and iconic, she's far too overprocessed and manufactured for my tastes...Norma has a measure of realness that makes her that much more beautiful.
Searching for pics of Norma Jean and stumbled across this post. Great one! It's easy to tell Norma was a great actress because she played the role of Marilyn every day. I truly like Norma and know she was a troubled soul. I like Marilyn her role, but I love the Norma Jean she really was.
Love Norma Jean's beach wear in the first three shots!

ReplyDeleteMariylyn Monroe is my favorite star, so I take both NJ & MM! :)
